Development thesis
The idea behind the project.
The project uses residential scale, layered lighting and tactile materials to make a substantial commercial venue feel comfortable and composed. Lounge seating, a full bar and display wine storage create distinct settings while reading as one continuous experience.

Break the floor into connected zones through furniture, lighting and millwork rather than walls, then use a restrained palette and strong focal elements to give each setting a clear purpose.
